About Me

I am a technical writer and a software developer. I have an unusual combination of interests and skills, balancing between the sciences and the fine arts. I have worked in software development, writing many different types of applications and tools in a variety of programming languages.  I have written technical documentation, specifications and reference manuals. I am also a serious photographer in the traditional film and newer digital domains, an English major and a student of classic film, with a Masters degree in film theory and criticism.

I have a passion for finding the right way to convey information to the audience, whether through the printed word, through formal computer logic or with still and moving pictures. I enjoy the challenge of taking dry technical information and making it both useful and usable.
